Job Description:
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Teach undergraduate sales and marketing courses in a half-time position.
Teach courses such as Marketing and Society, Principles of Marketing, Introduction to Professional Selling, Advanced Professional Selling, Sales Management, Integrated Marketing Communications and/or other core and elective marketing courses per the needs of the department.
Instruct courses in varied locations, at varied times, and via various media commensurate with department and university needs.
Engage in scholarly research or creative achievement to enhance knowledge of field.
Provide evidence of continuing preparation and study in the field to enhance teaching abilities.
Contribute to student growth and development including student advising.
Provide service to the university and community including the program, the department, the college, the university, and the greater community. Support Winona State University's mission to enhance the intellectual, social, cultural, and economic vitality of the people and communities we serve.
Actively support the College of Business's mission and maintenance of AACSB accreditation.
Required Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
Earned PhD or DBA with a concentration in Marketing or related discipline (ABD considered if completed by August 2023) within the past five years OR
Earned PhD or DBA with a concentration in Marketing or related discipline and two peer reviewed journal articles in the past five years OR
Master's degree with a concentration in Marketing or related discipline and significant and substantive professional experience in sales or marketing or consulting experience within sales or marketing within the past five years.
