The HBS Alumni Marketing and Communications team (AM&C) is seeking a Marketing Content Specialist for a six month, 30-hour per week position. The Marketing Content Specialist will be responsible for creating high-quality email and website content that engages our audience and drives results. Additional responsibilities will include:
Creating and managing email campaigns, website content, and social copy that adheres to brand voice and style guides
Draft compelling print and email appeals to different alumni segments from different authors
Collaborating with clients to understand their needs and goals for marketing content
Ensure all content meets strict quality standards and maintains brand consistency across all marketing materials
This role is responsible for other duties as assigned
Basic Qualifications
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent is required
5+ years of related experience is required
Education beyond high school may count toward experience
Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) experience is a must
Additional Qualifications and Skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the proven ability to write in a direct and concise style
Experience crafting compelling marketing copy for email and website channels
Fundraising and/or development communications experience preferred
Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work
Familiarity with brand style guides and content marketing best practices
Experience working in a client-facing role preferred
Able to work independently and manage time effectively to meet deadlines
Proficiency in Microsoft Teams and other collaboration tools
Additional Information
This is a hybrid position which we consider to be a combination of remote and onsite work at our Boston, MA based campus. HBS expects all staff to be onsite a minimum of 3 days per week and departments provide onsite coverage Monday ? Friday. Specific hours and days onsite will be determined by business needs and are subject to change with appropriate advanced notice.
