Position Description
The Naveen Jindal School of Management (JSOM) seeks applicants for an open rank (rank based on qualifications) non-tenure system faculty position (Assistant, Associate or Full Professor of Practice or of Instruction) to support and further develop the academic and outreach programs in its Retail Innovation and Strategy Excellence (RISE) Center. The applicant will teach various retail innovation/operation and marketing courses, and therefore, collegiate marketing, business, sales or retail operations teaching experience is needed.
The appointment commences for the fall 2025 semester.
Qualifications
Minimum Education and Experience: A master's or terminal degree in a relevant field of study and experience in managerial or leadership roles pertaining to retail innovation is required. Candidates are expected to demonstrate the ability to work effectively in a highly collaborative, engaging, and dynamic environment comprised of individuals with a range of backgrounds, skills, and perspectives. We are seeking candidates who can deliver high quality teaching using evidence-based practices to effectively engage students from a range of backgrounds and experiences.
Preferred Education and Experience: PhD or equivalent in a relevant field of study and 8 or more years of experience in managerial or leadership roles pertaining to retail innovation.
